How to Build Raised Beds .pdf
The PDF refers to other resources that relate to bed preparation and growing. Can you please tell me where I can find the other sources of information?
Thanks for posting this.
This is awesome. But isn’t the untreated wood going to rot? How can we prevent this, without the use of chemicals?
An acidic wood such as cedar is very rot-resistant, thus it’s application in roofing and siding.
Cedar is also great to help and bugs and pests.
How deep do the beds need to be ?
thank you for the tip, Jerald!
Cypress wood is also great, though very expensive
I was wondering about some raised beds that you can buy at home improvement stores that is not wood but some sort of plastic fabricated “boards” I suppose; would this be safe to use or would they possibly contaminate the soil?
I’m interested in created a raised bed on a brick patio…..organic with safe products for veges. Any suggestions or warnings?
